Renewable Product Content Score:
For each component of the product, multiply the content percentage by the Scoring Factor:

1. Refurbished, salvaged, post-consumer recycled, certified organic or FSC Pure - Scoring Factor = 100
2. FSC Mixed or Recycled, sustainably harvested offset, noncertified agricultural waste or non certified non timber forestry - Scoring Factor = 75
3. Non-certified post industrial or unknown recycled, noncertified organic, offset GMO free - Scoring Factor = 50
4. Other biobased agricultural or forestry product - Scoring Factor = 25
1. If Forestry - non certified, then wood contents must be identifiable on the Pharos Wood List and not be Endangered Forest types. If not identifiable or Endangered Forest type, Scoring Factor = 0
5. None of the above - scoring factor 0

Total all scores to get total renewable product content score
(For example if 30% of the product is FSC wood and 60% is post industrial recycled plastic and 10% is virgin metal, the score is
(30% X 100) + (60% X 50) + (10% X 0)= 30+30+0 = 60

Renewable Packaging Content Score:
Use same protocol for packaging as above for product.

Renewable Material Score:
Renewable Product Content Score X 90% + Renewable Packaging Content Score X 10%
For example, if the product score is 60 and the packaging score is 80, the total score is
(60 X 90%) + (80 X 10%) = 54+8=62 = Level 6
